A typical day in my life includes…
balancing home and work life. I get up at 4:30am and am asleep at 11pm. I try to be a great dad to my daughter, as well as the best doctor to my patients. I see patients from 8am-6pm mixed with networking in between patients. Sundays mornings are reserved for my daughter to have daddy-daughter breakfast.

My favorite thing about Arizona…
the people here are so down to Earth and so welcoming of visitors. When I first arrived, it was such an awe to have people say hi and smile when crossing the street. The awesome weather comes in second. Since NY doesn’t offer either of these things.

Podcasts, and more Podcasts and also some trap music. I listen to everything from classical music to jazz, Motown, R&B, Hindi music to rap music. I am all encompassing when it comes to music.

my dog Lucky. He has been with me since I first moved into the valley in 2011. He’s a red short-haired Dachshund and though he is stubborn, he does make up for in cuteness and fervor.

my patients. I spend a lot of time with them discussing their favorite topics. My personal favorite topic is history, so getting into my patients past really excites me. To find out where they are from and what lives they lived.

my dad. He is a Cardiologist in NY, and his dedication towards hard work and to his patients are where I get my work ethic from and how I learned my bedside manner.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
peace on Earth. I feel like everyone should live by the golden rule and as such, be kinder to people around them as they themselves would want others to be kind to them.

spent with my daughter and her infectious laugh. Amara brings out the kid in me and reminds me of a simpler time, when responsibilities of adult life weren’t so abounding.

a paperboy. Do people these days know what that is? I delivered newspapers to my neighborhood on my bicycle door to door.

is scuba diving. It is truly serene underwater.

Paresh Goel, MD grew up in New York and attended St. John’s University there. After completing medical school at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, India, he finished his training and residency at Brookdale Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
