A typical day in my life includes…
balancing home and work life. I get up at 4:30am and am asleep at 11pm. I try to be a great dad to my daughter, as well as the best doctor to my patients. I see patients from 8am-6pm mixed with networking in between patients. Sundays mornings are reserved for my daughter to have daddy-daughter breakfast.

I was born…
in Brooklyn NY. I grew up in Metro NY, but my childhood was spent on Long Island.

My favorite thing about Arizona…
the people here are so down to Earth and so welcoming of visitors. When I first arrived, it was such an awe to have people say hi and smile when crossing the street. The awesome weather comes in second. Since NY doesn’t offer either of these things.

I’m listening to…
Podcasts, and more Podcasts and also some trap music. I listen to everything from classical music to jazz, Motown, R&B, Hindi music to rap music. I am all encompassing when it comes to music.

My family…
means the world to me. I was brought up to cherish the family dynamic

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…
Steve Jobs as he sought to see the world differently than others. He was a visionary beyond his years, and to be able to have dinner and discuss the world of business as he scrutinized it would leave me in reverence.

One thing I cannot live without…
my dog Lucky. He has been with me since I first moved into the valley in 2011. He’s a red short-haired Dachshund and though he is stubborn, he does make up for in cuteness and fervor.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…
an astronaut. I still want to be able to travel to distant galaxies to answer the age-old question of whether there is life out there.

I’m inspired by…
my patients. I spend a lot of time with them discussing their favorite topics. My personal favorite topic is history, so getting into my patients past really excites me. To find out where they are from and what lives they lived.

The one person who motivates me is…
my dad. He is a Cardiologist in NY, and his dedication towards hard work and to his patients are where I get my work ethic from and how I learned my bedside manner.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
peace on Earth. I feel like everyone should live by the golden rule and as such, be kinder to people around them as they themselves would want others to be kind to them.

The perfect day would be…
spent with my daughter and her infectious laugh. Amara brings out the kid in me and reminds me of a simpler time, when responsibilities of adult life weren’t so abounding.

My first job was…
a paperboy. Do people these days know what that is? I delivered newspapers to my neighborhood on my bicycle door to door.

My favorite escape…
is scuba diving. It is truly serene underwater.

My life…
has yet to be fully lived! I can tell you the rest once it’s done.

I’m currently working on…
“In Search of Lost Time”, it’s a 7 volume book series by Marcel Prost and known for its theme of involuntary memory.

Always…
be kind to your fellow man or woman as it may be the case.

Never…
wake up on the wrong side of the bed.

Favorite Quote…
“Be the change that you want to see in the world.” – The great Mahatma Gandhi. Another great quote of his is, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”

Biggest Dream…
that Desert Mobile Medical transforms medical practices from insurance-based to direct pay. To be able to give my all.

lack of respect for others’ opinions.

Paresh Goel, MD grew up in New York and attended St. John’s University there. After completing medical school at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, India, he finished his training and residency at Brookdale Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
