Manish Patel, M.D. earned his medical degree in 1995 from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in his hometown of Baltimore, MD. He then relocated to Winston-Salem, NC, where he completed six years of specialized training at Wake Forest University in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Anesthesia Critical Care. During his time in North Carolina, Dr. Patel worked as both an ER physician and an Internist before moving to Arizona in 2001.
In 2005, Dr. Manish Patel co-founded Scottsdale Critical Care PC at Honor Health Osborn, offering 24-hour virtual physician coverage of the ICU, where he served as president from 2007 to 2013. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he has published numerous articles in medical journals and presented at international conferences in Critical Care, Anesthesia, and Pulmonary Medicine. With a passion for teaching, Dr. Patel regularly mentors medical students, residents, and nurse practitioners, and uses his critical care expertise to provide acute detoxification services in patients’ homes.
Dr. Patel was instrumental in establishing the first 24-hour virtual physician-staffed ICU at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, a role that highlighted his commitment to advancing telemedicine. Today, he practices innovative ICU telemedicine across Banner Health facilities in Arizona and serves on the teaching faculty at Banner University hospitals. As he has observed the increasing shift of decision-making power from doctors and patients to insurance companies, Dr. Patel has become an advocate for restoring patient-centered care. This drive led him to join Desert Mobile Medical in 2020, followed by his role at High Cadence Health in 2024, where he excels in providing personalized concierge care.
The reputation of Dr. Manish Patel in the Phoenix area is exceptional, with colleagues and patients frequently commending his bedside manner, vast knowledge, and dedication to patient care. His extensive network of top-tier specialists further enhances his ability to provide comprehensive, concierge-level medical services.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Patel enjoys staying active in his community, playing golf, reading, and exploring the art of gourmet cooking. He is also a proud father of three children.
